center3 and Saudi Electricity Project Development Company (PDC) Announce Data Center Development Partnership at LEAP 2026

Sep 01, 2026

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 31.8.2026 — center3, the leading digital infrastructure provider in the region, and Saudi Electricity Project Development Company (PDC), a subsidiary of Saudi Energy Company (SE), today announced their strategic partnership on energy infrastructure planning to support future data center development across the Kingdom and the wider region at LEAP 2026.

The two organizations will work together on early-stage power feasibility studies, substation design consultancy, and regulatory groundwork for upcoming large-scale data center projects. This alignment reflects a shared recognition that energy infrastructure readiness is a prerequisite for meeting the growing demand for digital-ready capacity across Saudi Arabia and the region.

PDC brings deep expertise in substation implementation and transmission infrastructure, with a project portfolio of over 1,300 projects valued at more than 330 billion SAR, while center3 operates as Saudi Arabia's largest carrier-neutral data center operator, with 25 facilities across the Kingdom and the region.

Fahad AlHajeri, CEO of center3, said: "Readiness is built in advance, not in response. Our strategic alignment with PDC is about ensuring that the energy foundation is in place before demand arrives. This is how center3 continues to deliver on its promise of being a dependable infrastructure partner for clients operating in the Kingdom and across the region."

Sultan Saleh Alsudais, CEO of Saudi Electricity Project Development (PDC), said: "Saudi Arabia's digital growth runs on reliable energy infrastructure. We see significant opportunity in working with center3 to bring our engineering expertise to the data center sector, and we look forward to aligning our capabilities to support the Kingdom's expanding infrastructure needs."

This announcement underscores center3’s continued commitment to staying ahead of market demand, securing the foundations today that will power Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure of tomorrow. By aligning with PDC, center3 is not only strengthening its current leadership but also accelerating its ability to deliver larger, more resilient, and power-ready digital infrastructure, further solidifying its role today while expanding the scale and impact it will enable across the region in the future.
